Our Work With Fondazione ANT Franco Pannuti ETS

If you don't know me already: Hi, I'm Olivia, owner of Taroko Matcha Bar.
This weekend, we hosted a very special event at The Shreduarters in Chelmsford, debuting our new Italian-themed menu for a one day pop-up! We served dozens of our signature drinks, new specials, and protein-packed sweet treats to the wonderful, ever-supportive community that we've been able to build here since December. Seeing so many familiar faces (as well as a few new ones) made this event super special, and we're so grateful for everyone who stopped by to support us.
Throughout June, we partnered with Fondazione ANT, an Italian charity that provides free specialist cancer care in patients' homes. Their teams of doctors, nurses, and psychologists help ensure that people living with cancer can receive compassionate care surrounded by their loved ones. Since 1978, ANT has supported more than 150,000 cancer patients and continues to provide essential services thanks to donations alone.
To celebrate this partnership, we created a special Italian-inspired menu featuring our:
- Tiramisu Iced Latte
- Lemon Iced Matcha
- Tiramisu Protein Brownies & Cookies
As usual, our Shredquarters family showed up in full force, and the response was incredible!
From yesterday's event alone, we generated £160 in sales and were able to donate €63 to Fondazione ANT. Across the course of the month, we were able to donate a total of €150 to Fondazione ANT. This amount covers the cost of an at-home blood transfusion for a cancer patient, including the medical team and transport required to provide the treatment safely at home. While this may not seem like a large amount, as a small part-time business working on Taroko purely as a passion project, we're incredibly proud to contribute in any way we can. Every donation helps support people facing some of life's most difficult challenges, and being able to play even a small role in that is something that means a great deal to us.
Our goal for next month is simple: with your continued support, we'd love to be able to fund a similar donation, and make an even bigger impact!
