I'm Olivia, owner & founder of Taroko Matcha Bar!

With over eight years of experience in customer service, in December 2025 I took a leap and started Taroko. Starting out with small gym pop-ups - Taroko has become one of the fastest growing and most profitable pop up locations in the UK. Utilising my previous experience in content creation and management, Taroko has built a strong brand identity across social media platforms.

 

The name "Taroko" is inspired by Taroko National Park in Taiwan, known for its lush greenery. This brand is a direct reflection of recipes passed down through generations of my family - reconnecting me with a culture that I grew up feeling far removed from.

Our menu reflects the fusion of these cultures - blending traditional East Asian methods with modern European twists.

At Taroko, giving back is at the heart of what we do. Each month, we partner with charities across the world, donating a portion of our profits. We believe in full transparency, regularly sharing donation breakdowns with our community.
